Below is a short description of some of the products we use:

HKC Keypad

The keypad, installed at a convenient location is used to operate the Alarm System. This keypad is used to turn the alarm on and off, add users, view logs and set up the alarm system.

HKC Passive InfraRed Sensor (PIR)

The Passive infrared detector monitors the temperature of the protected area. When an intruder enters the protected area it causes a change in temperature. The PIR then triggers the alarm.

Self Activating Bell Box (SABB) & Dummy Bellbox

The Self Activating Bell Box (SABB) is installed in a visible location on the front of your premises. Upon alarm activation, the siren will sound and cut off after a predetermined period (10 - 20 minutes) while the strobe light will continue to flash until the alarm system has been reset.

The dummy box can be installed to a premises with no alarm system. It has the same physical features as the real SAAB (flashing L.E.D, OCM logo and contact number), this option is available for people on a low budget because it can be used again if or when the time comes to install a full alarm system.

Panic Button

The panic button will activate the alarm system when pressed whether the alarm system is on or off. These are usually located close to hand in the master bedroom.

Shock Sensors/Contacts

These are placed on doors and windows to detect any type of forced entry.

Internal Sounder

The internal sounder will, in the event of an alarm activation sound until the alarm system has been reset by an authorised person.

Additional Extras

Digi Dialler (Text Card)

This device is connected to your phone line and will send you and  20 others of your choice a text message when your alarm system activates. It will tell you what zone and room was activated. When the system is reset it will send you another message telling you who reset it. If you get a reset message imediately then you know that it was a false alarm.

GSM Dialler

This is a device that does not require a phone line as it works on the mobile network. It has an internal sim card (O2, Vodafone, Meteor) and can be set up to either text like the digi dialler or actually ring you to tell you your alarm has being activated. The great thing about this, is that you can actually turn on and off your system from a mobile phone anywhere in the world.
